With a central focus on materiality and language, Amy Jones considers the manipulation of domestic materials within her practice. She imparts mischievous connotations through the process of sculpture, film and printmaking. Overtly ‘Girly-ness’ and ‘femininity’ is adapted with the intension of heightening the feeling of ambivalence, oscillating between attraction and repulsion.
