JAMBON are a group of artists who work collectively to show and support contemporary art. Since forming in Newcastle in 2009 JAMBON have completed a number of projects and exhibitions both nationally and internationally. JAMBON members Graeme Durant and Andrew Maughan will create newly commissioned work showing at IT’S FRIDAY for Glasgow International 2016.

Graeme Durant (b. 1987) is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, where he is co- founder of art collective JAMBON. His recent exhibitions include It was a dark and stormy night, Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, UK August 2015. Best In Show, Same Shit Different Day, London June 2015. BG3, Bloc Projects, Sheffield, 2015; When in Roam, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, 2014; Jambon January Sale, Newbridge Projects, Newcastle, 2014; Jesmonite on Paper, A3 Project Space, Birmingham, 2013 and The Gate of The Kiss, Baltic 39, Newcastle, 2013.

Andrew Maughan (b.1987) is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, where he is co-founder of art collective JAMBON. Recent solo shows include  2014 Chicken Town, Supercollider, Blackpool, UK 2015. YOLO, 36 Lime Street, Newcastle, UK 2013.

Both Durant and Maughan Graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art from Northumbria University, UK in 2009
