Krysia Kordecki (b. 1988 in Scotland) lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland.
Kordecki graduated in 2013 from Glasgow School of Art’s Sculpture & Environmental Art course. Since then she has worked as an Arts Specialist at Hospitalfield Arts, held a residency at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop and exhibited as part of Glasgow Open House Festival. She was selected to take part in an audio workshop in Croatia where field recordings were translated into live group performances in Stari Grad Museum on the island of Hvar.
Kordecki has a continuous interest in sound and uses material and space to channel her explorations. Her work often combines traditional sculptural processes with current audio technologies.
