Leslie Kulesh (b. 1982 in Lake Forest, IL USA) lives and works in London, England.
Kulesh produces performance and sculpture across digital and analogue platforms, seeking to reveal the role of technology as a material labour. Pointing to human and environmental symptoms produced by innovation, Kulesh’s work delves into the underbelly of progress: a post apocalyptic survivalism, an inescapable capital that must be manipulated from within. Using artistic license to push out a paranoia that seems at times fantastic, the work also rings eerily close to home.
Kulesh, Graduated from San Francisco Art Institute, was a 2015 associate at Open School East, London.
