Monika Sosnowska (b.1972 in Ryki, Poland) lives and works in Warsaw, Poland.
Monika Sosnowska studied at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland. Sosnowska’s practice is deeply inspired by the modernist architecture of Eastern Europe, Conceptual Polish Constructivism of the 1930s, and Minimalism from the 1960s and 70s.

Sosnowska represented Poland in the 52nd Venice Biennale, Italy in 2007 and has presented her work in the Biennale’s Arsenale exhibition in 2011 and 2003.
