Henrik Pätzke is an artist who works with Ateljé Inuti 2, a studio that supports artistically talented individuals with high-functioning autism, Asperger syndrome. Henrik is an installation artist most well-known for his tent sculptures and large fabric costume works that are designed and stitched together by the artist and often floated and suspended in the air displaying a closed quality and sculptural effect. For Glasgow International 2014, Pätzke will create an expansive installation in Project Ability’s gallery in Trongate 103.
Ateljé Inuti 2 is a small foundation that runs daily art activities for people with learning disabilities. Through their studios and gallery in Stockholm they are supported by artistic, pedagogic and psychology professionals.
