Accessibility

Glasgow International is committed to making all aspects of the festival and its online resources accessible to the widest audience. This section will be updated with more in-depth information as we finalise accessibility details of each event and exhibition, so please do check back soon.

Venue Accessibility

Each year the venues in the festival change and extend to different parts of the city. We aim for as many of our venues as possible to be fully accessible. However, some exhibitions and events do take place in unusual places, and unfortunately they are not always accessible to wheelchair users or may be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Please download our venue accessibility guide here.

Euan’s Guide is also a good resource that offers access reviews of many of this year’s venues.

BSL Tour, Sunday 6 May, 12pm

Our BSL-interpreted festival tour will depart from Kelvingrove at 12pm on Sunday 6 May. Read more about it here, or watch the video below.

Talks and Performances

Some performances and other events will provide BSL interpretation. We will upload details of these here as soon as they are confirmed.

Get in Touch

Please feel free to contact us with any accessibility related queries or issues relating to particular access needs. Our team of volunteers will work to help you wherever possible.
