Glasgow International 2020 | Call for Volunteers, Deadline 16 March

Applications to volunteer for Glasgow International 2020 are now open. We are looking for volunteers interested in getting involved in the Festival, which takes place 24 April – 10 May, with some opportunities also available in the weeks leading up to the Festival.

Our team of volunteers is crucial to the success of GI and provides essential and valued support. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to expand their skills and knowledge, particularly of contemporary art. Volunteering with us also gives the chance to be part of a friendly team delivering an exciting event across Glasgow!

We welcome volunteers who have an interest in contemporary art and knowledge of Glasgow. However, no experience is required and we will consider all applications. We are looking for people with a range of backgrounds and ages who can help our audiences find their way around and enjoy the Festival. Volunteers must be aged 16 and over.

Travel and meal expenses will be available to all volunteers.

We welcome applications from people who are Disabled. The majority of venues have good wheelchair access and we are happy to work with you to find a role that is accessible to you.

To apply to volunteer, you will need to register with Glasgow Life. Click here to register. Once you have registered, you will find information on volunteering for Glasgow International on the list of opportunities.

The deadline to apply to volunteer is 16 March 2020. A Volunteer Induction, which all volunteers should attend, will take place on the evening of 8 April in central Glasgow. Further training will take place in the weeks leading up to the Festival.
