You’re Never Done is a group exhibition featuring works by local and international artists that explores the invisible narratives of labour within our cities.
Inspired by Glasgow’s public wash houses (known as ‘Steamies’), the exhibition takes the form of a collaborative co-working space created to address the gendered division of labour and visibility within working class communities. The disused Springburn Public Library and Museum has been transformed into a platform for artists and community groups to work, discuss, and affirm their rights to cultural formation. The show is a gesture of reclaiming spaces, self-organising, and politicising the lack of art resources within communities in Glasgow North.
