The GSA School of Fine Art Public Lecture Series Presents: Nadia Myre

Event
Talk

To mark the opening of ‘Code-Switching, and Other Work’ at The Briggait for Glasgow International 2018, The GSA School of Fine Art Public Lecture Series and curators Mother Tongue present an artist talk from Nadia Myre. Through processes of imprinting, documenting, weaving and excavating, Myre’s work for GI 2018 responds to local histories of clay tobacco pipe production to ask enduring questions around colonial legacies. Presenting an overview of her practice and introducing the new work produced for Glasgow International 2018, Myre’s talk will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by curator Tiffany Boyle.
