The Centre for Contemporary Arts, on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street, has been a hub for the arts since 1992. CCA’s year-round programme includes exhibitions, film, music, literature, spoken word, festivals, Gaelic events, and talks. With building admissions of over 300,000, the venue hosts around 1,200 events per year. CCA curates exhibitions, presenting national and international contemporary artists in the ground floor gallery. The building is also home to Intermedia Gallery which showcases emerging artists and the Creative Lab residency space. CCA’s public engagement programme aims to extend access to CCA and has – at its heart – the prospect of cultural and social change explored through art.
