The Common Guild

An on-going series of black and white photographs begun in 2005, ‘Images or shadows of divine things’ offered a counterpoint to Byrne’s new video work shown elsewhere in the Festival. Taken exclusively in the United States, the series illustrates the constant presence of the past.
