Lowlands

Commissioned by GI, Susan Philipsz presented a site-specific outdoor sound work on the banks of the River Clyde that offers an extra-ordinary connection with a hidden and little used space. Combining three versions of the same song, as sung by the artist, ‘Lowlands’ is Philipsz first public work in her native city.
