GI Hub

NVA recreated an anti-car action by the 1960s Dutch anarchist movement: making 50 white bikes freely available for use across the Festival. The main pick-up/drop-off point was The GI Hub (54 Miller Street), where there was also an exhibition of archive material about the original action. In the spirit of the original, the bikes are locked but the combination code is 6510.

Supported by GI Festival. Additional support for this project comes from the Scottish Arts Council and Hugh Fraser Foundation.
