The Mitchell Library

Market Gallery ran an experimental ‘Art Lending Library’ allowing Festival visitors to borrow significant pieces of contemporary art to install in their own homes. The library included works from over fifty artists covering a diverse range of practices, offering people a unique opportunity to experience these works at close quarters.
