Sacrilege

One of Britain’s most consistently interesting and influential artists, Jeremy Deller presented his first major public project in Scotland: an interactive public artwork situated on Glasgow Green for the duration of the festival. This major new work is characteristic of Deller’s on-going exploration of contemporary culture in all its forms.

Sacrilege is co-commissioned by GI Festival 2012 in collaboration with the Mayor of London.

The work toured the UK including London during the 2012 Olympic/ Paralympic Games before heading to Hong Kong.
