Seat in Shadow

Seat in Shadow was an exhibition of paintings and film that features a Glaswegian amateur psychotherapist and abstract painter obsessed by the work of Australian painter Sidney Nolan. The therapist exists apart from societal norms, reason and social regulation, providing a psychological portrait of irrational creativity in conflict with the rational order.
