Alex Frost

Frost’s work is concerned with the tension and distance that exists between illusionism and literalism. His work has encompassed many styles, linked by his intensive, systematic working method and by his interest in a kind of compromised Minimalism.

Frost has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows, including:  Future Spotters, Wewerka Pavillon, Kunstakademie Münster, Germany (2013); The Connoisseurs, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Dundee (2012); New Forest Pavilion,  Palazzo Zenobio, Venice (2009); and The Jerwood Sculpture Prize,  Jerwood Galleries, London (2009).

Alex Frost (b.1973) lives and works in Glasgow, UK.
