Angus McPhee Angus McPhee

Angus McPhee (1916-1997) was an extraordinary artist who wove grass into clothes and other items. Angus, originally from South Uist, lived most of his life in Craig Dunain Hospital, where Joyce Laing discovered his work hidden under hedgerows and bushes. He rarely spoke, but expressed himself through his art.
