Art Outside the Box with Project Ability

The Art Extraordinary Collaboration is a long standing partnership between the University of Glasgow, Glasgow Museums, Project Ability, Leverndale Recreational Therapy, Barlinnie Prison and many artists and community collaborators. Our ethos for collaboration is embedded within working with communities and individuals to explore the collection. We are passionate about using the collection to understand more about the lived experiences of mental (ill)health and confinement, and the power of creativity to create spaces for care, understanding, and social justice.
