Glasgow International 2020

Erika Stevenson

Erika Stevenson (b. 1987, Fife, Scotland) captures events, projects and activities to produce lively images for creative campaigns. Over the last few years Stevenson has built a successful freelance Art Photography career documenting and capturing events such as Dundee Design Festival 2017 and Glasgow International 2016.

Alongside her commercial work, Stevenson has continued to build up a body of observational fine art work. Stevenson has chosen GI this year as a platform to finally exhibit a concise selection of new pieces.

Transmuted Worlds

Exhibition

Vibrant and visceral, curious and re-imagined, this large-scale exhibition is composed with materials collected from previous constructs from the city of Glasgow.

The artists have created a programme of workshops, live digital drawing, talks and discussion for all ages to get involved with. Their aim is to work individually and as a unit, utilising each other’s skillsets to create an energetic place for the public to engage with over the course of the festival.

With special thanks to the Glasgow School of Art Archives, Clockwise and Ssssstudio.
