Hayley Tompkins
Hayley Tompkins is an artist who lives and works in Glasgow. Tompkins is a painter whose intimate, crafted works allude to common, shared histories and a sense of the joy in sensory experience itself. She uses paint, photography, furniture and film to translate a private, subjective language. Each piece seeks a fresh particularity of appearance while questioning forms and periods from art history.
