littlewhitehead are artists Craig Little (b. 1980 Glasgow) and Blake Whitehead (b. 1985 Lanark).

Central to littlewhitehead’s work is a continual dialogue between the artists. Video nasties, art history, tabloid headlines and cults are just some of the sources that influence this. Their work though is never just about appropriation. Instead they select images and narratives and fuse them together in a dialogue fuelled by a peculiar humour. The result is work that appears dreamlike, deadpan and often macabre, involving multi-layered narratives that give glimpses into the artists’ fictional world whilst simultaneously reflecting the anxieties and ontological absurdities of present day life.
