Paul Kindersley

Paul Kindersley (b.1985 in Cambridge, UK) lives and works in London, UK. Paul Kindersley is an artist, stalker, makeup enthusiast, pervert and video broadcaster. Kindersley’s various personas are like his paintings - devourers of culture lovingly re-comprised to create saintly incarnations of pop and historical references presented in ostentatious fictions. Swirling references and hinted narratives are elegantly draped throughout his manifestations, exploring fact, fiction, romance, sex, gender - and the blurring of everything in between. Exhibitions include: The Cambridge Show,  Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge (2019); Lignes de vies , MACVAL, Paris (2019); Orlando… at the present time, Charleston House, Lewes (2018); Ship of Fools, SKIP Gallery, Selfridges, London (2019); DRAG, Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, London (2018) #TheBritishAreCumming, Kunstschlager, Reykjavik (2014); #ExtremeDream Makeover, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham (2014); The Men of 73 & Friends, Centre For Recent Drawing, London (2011)
