susan pui san lok (b. 1972 in Essex, England) lives and works in London, England. Lok is an artist, writer and researcher. Her work ranges across moving image, installation, sound, performance and text, evolving out of interest in notions of nostalgia and aspiration, place and migration, translation and diaspora.

Solo shows include: A COVEN, A GROVE, A STAND, Firstsite Colchester (2019); RoCH Fan and Legends, QUAD, Derby and CFCCA Manchester (2016); Lightness, commissioned by Film & Video Umbrella De La Warr Pavillion (2012); Everything Flows Faster, Higher commissioned by FVU and BFI Southbank to coincide with Beijing Olympics, solo shows at Gallery, Winchester Discover Centre (2012) and MAI, Montreal (2014). Group exhibitions include: 1st Asia Biennial & 5th Guangzhou Triennial (2015-16); other international group exhibitions include Gallery 4a Australia, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Shanghai Duolun MoMA, and SITE Sante Fe. Group exhibition in the UK include: 198 Gallery, Beaconsfeild, Café Gallery Projects, Hayward Gallery,, SPACETriangle, Cornerhouse and Holden Gallery, De La Warr Pavillion and the Hatton Gallery.
