Tessa Lynch (b. 1984 in Surrey, England) lives and works in Glasgow.
Lynch works predominantly with sculpture and performance, mimicking objects and scenarios. Connected research is concerned with the emotional impact and commanding power made by both the built environment and the miasma generated from neoliberalism.
Her performances and site-specific installations often explore the emotional impact and commanding power of the built environment. Frequently using performance as a framework, Lynch will play an active part of the process, building sculptural environments. These are immediate responses to her surroundings, reflections on everyday scenarios and constructed narratives.
