In Conversation | Ingrid Pollard, Mason Leaver-Yap

Ingrid Pollard
Thu, 24 June
6.30 - 8pm

Join Ingrid Pollard and Mason Leaver-Yap in conversation online as they discuss Pollard's recent residency and commission with Glasgow Women's Library, and the process of working within a relatively young archive.

Pollard is a multi-media artist, photographer, researcher and lecturer. Ingrid has developed a social practice concerned with representation, history and landscape with reference to race, difference and the materiality of lens-based media. In 2019 she was commissioned to undertake a residency and produce new works in response to the Lesbian Archive held at Glasgow Women’s Library.

Mason Leaver-Yap works with artists to produce texts, exhibitions and events, and has worked with Pollard in the past (Hot Moment, Auto Italia, 2020).

Supported by Esmee Fairbairn Collections Fund and Glasgow International

Free tickets can be booked from Glasgow Women's Library's website. Please note that booking closes on Wednesday 23rd June and you will receive your email invitation a few days before the event takes place.
