To celebrate the opening of Glasgow International 2021, local station Clyde Built Radio are presenting a radio show across the first two nights of the festival.
The show features sounds that span across multiple genres, including afrobeats, experimental music and dance. Music producer jayda aims to use their platform to cultivate community spaces. Their set also includes an interview with artist Awuor Onyango, whose work is on show at Street Level Photoworks as part of Body of Land with Sekai Machache.
After jayda comes dj peanut, a Glasgow-based DJ and artist who showcases a range of sounds, focusing on minimal wave and experimental dance music.
Friday night sees sets from London-based DJ ISHWAQ and KILIMANJARO, who brings his unique blend of afro, house, world and party energy.
