Festival Report

This report is focused on the festival in June and provides an overview of feedback received from: visitor surveys, programme participant feedback (through survey and in person), and media responses. It contains information on what happened during the festival, who participated and visited and what the impact of it was. We’re very grateful to all those who contributed to the festival evaluation; this report summarises a much larger set of findings, many of which have provided important elements of learning for future editions of Glasgow International.
The report is intended to reflect the collective work of all the Glasgow-based organisations, curators, artist-led initiatives and artists who together made the festival possible. It is informed by Glasgow International’s mission to celebrate, support, platform and stimulate Glasgow’s unique visual arts ecology, its inherent internationalism, and its relationships with artistic communities around and beyond Scotland. It is structured to reflect the festival’s values of: collaboration, celebration, depth & sustainability and accountability.
