Laura Fungai Ganda is a Zimbabwean curator, researcher, and arts manager and director of Creative Lounge, a curatorial and arts management organisation

Creative Lounge aims to promote and support contemporary art and culture in Zimbabwe and beyond through strengthening the creative and cultural industries. She has a keen interest in exploring themes such as resistance, identity, gender, and heritage in contemporary art and visual culture. She has curated exhibitions, film festivals, creative entrepreneurship programmes, artist, and research residencies in Zimbabwe. Her strong knowledge of and passion for contemporary art and culture has culminated into curated exhibitions and artistic programmes that include exhibitions such as Zvepano (2022), Contours of Resistance (2022).

She has implemented projects to enable the professional development of creatives that include Visual artists development programme

(2022), SoCreative Africa e-Learning Programme (2022-2023), Art and Ecology

Interactions (2023) The Collaborative Language of Printmaking (2024). She is a Chevening Scholar and holds an MA in Arts Management and Heritage Studies from the University of Leeds. She is currently working on curatorial and research projects that aim to create meaning and storytelling through contemporary art and heritage practices through community, collaboration, and innovation.
